We are a group of enthusiasts who have an affinity for automobiles made by Nissan. We gather here to share our experiences, ask questions about our cars, plan trips, track days, and other forms of gatherings, and basically have a good time with others who share in our grand enthusiasm.

To those of you who were not able to make it to the recent races in Subic on April 27, 2003, you can now take a look at the action in our Gallery. Three videos from this raceday were also added to our Downloads section. Incidentally, one of the videos shows the correct line through the last chicane (S-bend) of the Subic International Raceway. This may interest some of you who are participants of the RWYB series.

The Run What You Brung (RWYB) season for 2003 is about be underway. On Sunday, April 6, 2003, the first round of RWYB will officially commence. This bracketed lap timed race for the amateur class, held at the Subic International Raceway and organized by Sports Values, Inc., is one the events that will be occuring on that day, along with the Blaze Super Saloon Series and the Challenge Cup Series.

The RWYB series allows amateurs and racing enthusiasts to test their skills on the track, through timed laps, attempting to achieve the fastest times within (and not exceeding) their chosen bracket. This event series has been seen as the beginning steps to becoming a full-time race driver, and in fact, many racers have begun exactly this way.

This year brings about a new trend within Nissanbayan, with enthusiasm and eagerness reigning supreme among the members for this event and circuit racing in general. No other year has Nissanbayan seen as large a number of participants for RWYB. Including two members who have participated in past RWYB seasons, we now have an additional five members who will be joining RWYB for the first time. The trend is alive, and the numbers are growing each and every year, as more and more are learning to appreciate their Nissans in the ultimate fashion -- racing.

The NB members who will be joining in the event this year are (in alphabetical order): Bluestar, Charlie, Enigz, Estok, Ryan_pogi, Ses, and Taggart. All have been practicing during the NB trackdays and sharing information with each other to improve their lap times on the track, to eventually win the points needed for the overall championship. NB members will also be present during the races to lend their support for the RWYB participants. This will indeed prove to be an exciting weekend for all.
